James Hood is renowned as a vital and versatile musical pioneer - especially with his work on the PanART hang, a uniquely mesmeric melodic instrument, and for his collaborations with international animation artists.
His lengthy and varied musical resumé includes playing drums in The Pretenders, an ongoing two-decades-plus run as mastermind of the visionary ambient/electronica act Moodswings, and an expansive array of production and soundtrack projects.

All tickets are 100% refundable up to 30 days prior to the date of your event.
Our Customer Service Team aim to reply within 5 hours between the hours of 10am to 10pm (PT).

Should any precautions be required for a particular show, you will receive an email confirming the policies in place for the show you are attending. If you are not comfortable with these our customer service team will gladly assist you moving your tickets to a later showing.

60 minutes before showtime - Doors open for check-in (+Wheelchair access)
30 minutes before showtime - VIP Guests Early Access seating in dome
15 minutes before showtime - General Admission seating in dome
Mesmerica's run time is approximately 1 hr
Please plan to arrive on time and before the show starts, due to the dark environment of the theater.
Late seating after the show begins is generally not permitted due to safety concerns, and will be at the discretion of the show operator.
Seating is on a “first come first serve” basis. We suggest that you arrive early to have the best pick of seating for your group.
The theater is equipped with fixed seats equal to the maximum capacity of the theater. Groups arriving last who are unable to locate seats next to each other have the option to utilize movable chairs at the back of the theater.
Please refrain from bringing food or beverages along with you into the theater. Water bottles are welcome.

The Museum utilizes their collections and resources to offer a variety of experiences in the form of exhibitions, programs, classes, lectures and giant screen movies.
Koch Immersive Theater & Planetarium
Explore space and rediscover our amazing planet in our stunning Koch Immersive Theater & Planetarium where you can see traditional planetarium shows and immersive full-dome cinema utilizing Digistar® projection technology. The 40-foot, 70 seat theater features stadium-style seating and a 10,000-watt surround sound system.
When not being utilized for programs, the theater is available for gaming party rentals.
Koch Immersive Theater & Planetarium is located at the Evansville Museum, 411 Southeast Riverside Drive, Evansville, Indiana, 47713
The Museum and its galleries are open Thursday-Saturday 11 AM-5 PM and Sunday Noon-5 PM.
Giant screen movies and planetarium shows are presented hourly on weekends, and twice each day on weekday afternoons.
The Museum is closed Monday-Wednesday.
PARKING & DIRECTIONS
Free parking is available in our paved and lighted parking lot accessible from Riverside Drive.
The museum is easily accessible from the Lloyd Expressway, US Interstate 69 and US Highway 41

The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science is committed to providing programming that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability.
Due to the anticipated sellout crowds for Mesmerica, seating for those with special needs, including wheelchairs, should be arranged in advance by contacting The Museum several days prior to your need.
Assistive listening devices and seats with flip-up armrests are also available.
